We are thrilled to share highlights from our recent joint event with BlackRock, focusing on the critical role of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in fostering inclusive workplaces. This collaboration brought together leaders, employees, and diversity advocates to explore the transformative power of ERGs in creating a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome and opening speech by Nora Varady, CEO of WeAreOpen - Nyitottak vagyunk. Nora's insights on the significance of ERGs set a hopeful tone for the day.
Following Nora, Bea Juvancz, MD at BlackRock, and Lauren Baer, EMEA Head of DEI at BlackRock, delivered inspiring remarks. Each group provided a unique perspective, showcasing their strategies for fostering an inclusive workplace. The experiences they shared were invaluable, offering lessons on how to leverage ERGs for both employee support and organizational growth.
One of the event's highlights was the introduction of WeAreOpen's updated toolkit on creating, building, and managing ERGs. This comprehensive guide is an essential resource for leaders and employees committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in their workplaces. Our members and partners also participated in an engaging workshop led by Andras Kallos.
